I should really be at The Cure Summer Session show in Edinburgh today, but wondered if they’d live up to how I imagine them. I’ve been into the band since around 1984, so it’d be partially nostalgia. Saying that, the last album is wonderful too.
£85 for two bands I’d like to see isn’t really good. I don’t like Slowdive and Just Mustard. Mogwai are good, but how many times have I seen them? Not even sure. To compensate, here are some of my favourite Cure videos, in no particular order. Tim Pope, I salute you, and Robbity Bobbitty too.💋

I love The Cure too…I saw them when they came to Auckland, it was a great show. I don’t like Slow Dive either….I think we have similar tastes
