A title will have a swear word and the accompanying poster will have a suitably provocative image, which will be catnip/rage bait to Quentin Letts.

68 Guns
Despite featuring music by The Alarm, this gory new musical, written by David Ireland, focuses on The Troubles. Traverse Theatre almost wet themselves with excitement. Chekhov’s gun is a given. As is a fuck ton of swearing.
Traverse Theatre, times and mood varies.
What’s The Point, Ultimately?
This nine hour durational piece at Summerhall features a naked female screaming in the audience’s face for six hours, in a display of existential terror, before drinking a glass of water, donning a white robe and playing harp for the next three. It’s all duality, innit.
Summerhall, 1-10pm

Chuckles!
Chuckles is you. Chuckles is me. Chuckles is most likely a metaphor for something we’d rather not contemplate. Dark, porous, award-winning bouffon from Belgium.

Wokerati
This show bursts taboos like boils, guaranteed to make Piers Morgan queasy, and MAGA uneasy. Protests by people who haven’t seen it are already forming in The Royal Mile as I type. All everyone has to go on is the title, but they’re furious. Livid.
Summerhall, 10.30pm
what’s the point ultimately has dramaturgical support from Dr Criticulous and is featured in a special 400 page issue of analogue magazine.

Gosh I love that photo you found of Edinburgh; it draws me right back to staying there with my family years back in November. So rich…
