Beautiful in and out of drag, Flesh took the crown. Personally, Naya Thorn would have been my first choice, but Flesh is undoubtedly a worthy winner. She’s a talented queen: witty, humble, not afraid to laugh at herself, and not one for getting involved in the squabbles. So I’m pleased for Flesh, whose real name is Oli Varela. Nice guys don’t always finish last.
Flesh also proved she could throw shade cleverly in the roast battle. There are hidden depths here. She also has a degree in English literature from Oxford. It’s great to see the brainy ones push through. A lip sync to Bowie’s ‘Modern Love’ sealed the deal. Brava, chica! She’s going to be massive.
