And I couldn’t be happier. Initially, I warmed to her: Buster Bloodvessel out of drag; Joan Collins in drag. I was all for KY Kelly when Paris Baby had a go at her for her weight, but subsequently, she’s turned out to be a real bully. Despite her talents, she’s manipulative. She’s played the victim, when she’s not displaying excessive arrogance. This smacks of narcissistic behaviour. Someone called Dr Ramani, pronto.
Essentially, she was hoisted by her own petard, when her Roast of some of the queens went further than simply throwing shade. It felt mean-spirited, and she had the audacity to backchat both Michelle Visage and Mama Ru herself when they took her to task. Not a good look.
Shade should be incisive, not personal. KY crossed that line many times, so I’m glad that the Regina George of the series has sashayed away. The right ones are in the final (apart from The Delta Quadrant,of course).
