New footage has been unearthed on YouTube of late legend Prince’s producer DJ Wackjob with a recently discovered vault of lost tapes from the Minneapolis icon.
Amongst the tapes is a rare gem , Wackjob has dubbed “The Floppy Dicks’ a double album ‘s worth of songs with intriguing titles such as ‘Sorry Babe, This Has Never Happened Before (Gimme A Minute)’ ‘2Nite …It’s Scrabble Nite ‘ and power ballad ‘I’m Not In The Mood (Can’t We Just Cuddle)?’
Wackjob, somewhat nonplussed after playing the tracks, shook his head at this questionable treasure trove, saying, ” This may not be released, man. I think Prince was losing his edge here”, adding with a wry smile, the material was, “not his purple patch (pun intended) “.
Prince’s estate has refused to comment.
